Hi,
I have some fedora bugzilla history (userid also hgkamath)
initial package hosting request please add me to appropriate group.
apologize if this is not the right place to file ticket, but I could not clearly know how way to contact a sponsor.
I lately often find myself building packages from srpms because either thay are not yet ported to fedora. In terms of skills I know only the 70% of things, where if a spec file exists, I can somehow enough modifications to make it compile, The 15% of creating a spec file from scratch, and the 15% of polishing it to distribution perfection is not my forte. I think this labour/work can be contributed to the community, so that my work can perhaps be furthered upon by someone else, or receive feedback along the way to make it to an acceptable state
I sometimes fond these srpms on SUSE or pkgs.org or pbone.net but often they are not appropriate for fedora becuase required package names are different, and certain commands etc may give different results. So I adapt them.
ex. as of now I have just build at python3-opengl on my fedora laptop.
seek a place to host these srpms and spec files. I do not understand the full procedure even though a very detailed wiki is out there but summary I get is that one has to build on koji and then submit for package review.
