The IMM firmware on most of the qa machines is out of date. I would update them myself but the user I have access to has no permissions to update IMM firmware and the CLI tool from IBM is not working.
The FW version I'm requesting is: YUOOG2C-1.42
The machines which need update are: * qa01.qa * qa02.qa * qa03.qa * qa04.qa * qa05.qa * qa08.qa
qa06.qa and qa07.qa have already been updated.
Please coordinate with me when the FW is updated - I don't expect the updates to disrupt the qa services on those boxes but would prefer to be cautious.
If at all possible, I'd like to get this done before we go much farther on taskotron deployment. If available time is the issue, would it be possible to get firmware update privs on the IMMs long enough to get them updated?
Sure. We can grant the qa account admin there on those machines, I don't see a reason why not.
I have updated the qa account on the 8 mgmt systems to supervisor. You should be able to run the updates as needed.
