Red Hat Engineering is having problems mirroring content to internal builders due to limited number of available slots on the rsync servers.
= reason =
The cause of this is that the current Netapp server is severely overloaded by various traffic to it from the Fedora builders and such.
= recommendation =
We are being moved to a new netapp in the coming two weeks which will hopefully address this. If it does not then we will need to work with Red Hat storage for a new internal red hat mirror box using Netapp Sync.
We are still waiting for new NFS storage which will allow us to increase the amount of users and hopefully lower the wait for existing users.
We still have not moved to new storage yet, but we opened limits up some...
Have any of you been able to sync ok in the last few days?
Everything looks back to good on our storage.
