#424 Trouble commiting the file libvirt from Fedora 9
Closed: Fixed None Opened 16 years ago by gcintra.

I am trying to commit the file named libvirt, which I am localizing into Brazilian portuguese, however I get the following message every time I attempt doing it:

There was a technical error with the commit/push of your submission,
most likely because of a misconfiguration of the system. Try refreshing
the module's cache and retry submitting.The administrators will look
into the log files and try to find out what went wrong.

Could anyone help me with this issue?

Best Regards,
Glaucia Cintra

It seems CVS commits fail for /cvs/elvis:

$ cvs commit -m 'Updated pt_BR file' .
cvs commit: Examining .
Testing pt_BR.po...
/usr/local/bin/potest.sh: line 11: msgfmt: command not found
**** Access allowed: transif is in ACL for libvirt.
cvs commit: Pre-commit check failed
cvs [commit aborted]: correct above errors first!

Same happens with redhat-backgrounds:
{{{
-bash-3.1$ cvs commit
Testing mai.po...
/usr/local/bin/potest.sh: line 11: msgfmt: command not found
**** Access allowed: transif is in ACL for redhat-backgrounds/po.
cvs commit: Pre-commit check failed
cvs [commit aborted]: correct above errors first!
cvs commit: saving log message in /tmp/cvsGiktza
}}}

These commits are going through transifex? Doesn't transifex run the po test file? If so we probably don't need the local po test.

Glezos, is my logic on that correct?

Please try this commit again, if it works let us know and close the ticket.

Commit worked, thanks Mike.
