Please create the following new flock mailing lists:

flock-speakers-2014@lists.fedoraproject.org
flock-attendees-2014@lists.fedoraproject.org

Both lists should be set to invite only, with me (FAS: spot) as the admin.

Also, if possible, please close the -2013 variants for both of those lists from new subscription requests (the spam bots are flinging themselves at them). Do not close out the 2013 lists (we want to email them about 2014), but we will not be subscribing new people to them. I couldn't figure out how to do that from the admin console, so it may not be possible, and if not, oh well. :)

New lists are made, you should have gotten passwords.

On the old ones you can 'close' them by:

  • set emergency moderation of all posts.

  • set all new subscribers to 'moderated'

  • set all moderated posts to 'discard'

I've done that on the old lists. ;)
