RDO RPMs are hosted on repos.fedorapeople.org, in the directory /repos/openstack. We would like to know both how many people are downloading the packages and doing updates, and where they are located, from the HTTP access logs.

= implementation recommendation =

I would love to have a regular cron job run to extract accesses to /repos/openstack from access.log, and have these logs made available to a small number of people who will have access to this data. If the files could be scped to a server where I will be able to access them and add new people at will who will also be able to see them, that would be great. Other possible delivery methods: Files could be put at an agreed .htpasswd protected location on the server, or emailed, to the people who will have access.

I've setup a script which will report the logs daily to a dir you can access via the web. The path is not discoverable unless you already know where it is.

It will retain 1 months of logs separated out per day.

I'll communicate with you off-ticket for the path.

Would it be possible to do a one-time dump of everything since April 15th (or May 20th, when I got the logs last) there also, please, so that we can track historical data? If the files could stay there undeleted for a couple of days to give us a chance to get them, that would be great.

I only have the logs from may 25th and up easily available.

That provides you with just at 1 month in addition to what you had before.

They've all been sent to the same location as before.
