= phenomenon = extremely poor response on git.fedorahosted.org and specifically attemting to clone virt-manager:
git clone git://git.fedorahosted.org/git/virt-manager.git

Currently, this clone has been running for over an hour. I can clone NetworkManager or libvirt in a minute or two,

Accessing the site via http is also (mostly) slow so it may not be both 66.135.62.187 and 66.135.62.201

= reason = either the system is having a severe performance problem or you are under a denial of service attack.

= recommendation = Test it anyway

It appears to be 66.135.62.187 that has a problem. I restarted the clone using 66.135.62.201 and it was a bit slow but it finished.

Yes, we are aware of the problems and have been working to fix things all morning.

Both nodes should be working ok now, can you reclone and confirm?

I think everything should be back to ok now.
