Hey...

This problem stands here stably for a long time..

Just take a look at the screenshot.

Can you tell us:

  • what browser are you using

  • what lang / locale do you have set

Firefox 19.0.2(every version of FF has this problem)

Locale:zh_CN

Are you zoomed out?

What if you (in that order):
- ctrl+0
- ctrl+'+' or ctrl+mouse scroll (middle button)

Does that change anything?

No......Why should I zoom out? ;)

It's the default interface.

Not zoom out, zoom in. It doesn't change anything?

First,

why should let users zoom in or out? It's rude and bad-designed.

Next, you asked me to zoom in, Well...

Let's see this picture first,

This is 110%, and as you see, the footer is still vague but the body seems OK.

This is 120%, this time the fonts is nice for reading, better than 110%. But the OK button is a bit unexpected.

This is 220%, this time the footer can be displayed as 110% of the body.

The reason I ask is that you're the first person to report this problem and I'm not able to reproduce it.
I don't see how it is rude to ask you to help debugging a problem you are facing and that I cannot reproduce, sorry if you felt it was.

Thank you for all the screenshot, it seems that there is indeed something going wrong.
Have you tried with a different browser, like epiphany?
From that last screenshot, are you running Windows? Could this be somehow platform related?
I've just checked on the Windows 7 I have access to, no problem there as well.

It seems like it might be font related?

Do you have the 'always use my fonts' preference checked?

If this is a Fedora/linux box, what fonts do you have installed?

Does a newly created user see the same issue? (this will tell us if it's machine wide, or something with your profile)

I received my mate's scrrenshot and here is his firefox test one:

And I check my browser setting, I found it's font related.

The incorrect display is caused by font “宋体”, and this is a Windows XP box. Under Fedora Konqueror it's correct.

ok. Is there anything we can do to mitigate this problem?

After a whole day thinking ,I think this problem can be ignored, moreover XP is nearly dead.
