#37 fedora-el-list mailing list creation
Closed: Fixed None Opened 16 years ago by glezos.

Can someone please create the general-purpose greek list of $subj that will be for general discussion concerning Fedora Greece (marketing, support, etc) instead of localizations?

Since I believe we should have first created this one and after, if it was necessary, to take translations to a new list, I suggest to bring up this issue (which of the two to create first) to people who request a list for localizations. -trans-<lang> is too specific, and only half of the localization issues are translations.

Finally, I believe we should drop the minimum number of people to form a new list to 2-3 instead of 5. The reason is that a list fosters discussions and new members, can get CVS commits, etc. The number of our localization teams is minimal compared to GNOME's ones (l10n.gnome.org/teams) and our maintainers even less.

Where did you find the minimum number of people requirement at?

Don't remember, it might even be in my mind.

Nevertheless, if there is one, we would like to make it 3 so that people can bootstrap a team more easily and archive their messages better for new members.

If that's OK with infra, I'll mention 3 as the minimum number at the [http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/L10N/Maintainer L10N maintainer's page].

You should have been notified about the creation of this page, please let me know if you have not recieved it.
