#3670 Request for BZ email override
Closed: Fixed None Opened 11 years ago by maxamillion.

My FAS account currently points to my personal email account which is exactly what I would like, but I use my work email to log into my bugzilla account and would like the two to be connected so that I may log in with my BZ account and do Fedora Review Requests, etc.

FAS account: maxamillion
BZ email: admiller@redhat.com

Thank you,

It looks like we already set this up:

fas2.py has:

Adam Miller: 'maxamillion@gmail.com'

110673: 'admiller@redhat.com',

Want me to open a new bug against a package you own and see if it gets assigned correctly?

For sanity sake, I would please. I haven't, however, noticed any direct issues with bugs against my packages but I am unable to mark a '+' on a Review Request I did recently which got me asking in #fedora-admin and lead me to filing this ticket.

Here's the review request in question if that would help: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=893165

Interesting. Red Hat has certain permissions that it gives developers. I think that those used to give you access to set the fedora flags. Looks like that may have changed. I've gone into bugzilla's admin view and given your account the fedora-specific flags now. Check it out and see if the flags are now available to you.

it used to be that if you had a @redhat.com email bugzilla gave you full fedora permissions, I had the bugzilla admins switch that off years ago now. so that the access is only given via fas permissions.

This issue appears to be resolved. Thank you!
