Outage: lists.fedoraproject.org migration - 2012-11-22 05:00 UTC
There will be an outage starting at 2012-11-22 05:00 UTC, which will last approximately 12 hours.
To convert UTC to your local time, take a look at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/UTCHowto or run:
date -d '2012-11-22 05:00 UTC'
Reason for outage:
We will be moving lists.fedoraproject.org from a single server to a pair of servers with a glusterfs storage backend. This will allow us to reduce downtime moving forward and be able to avoid a single point of failure in one server. During this outage, emails sent to lists will queue up and be delivered once service is returned. Archives and other list functions will not be available during the outage. Additionally the gobby.fedoraproject.org server will be unavailable.
Note that lists.fedorahosted.org lists as well as emails to fedoraproject.org aliases will be unaffected.
