#3512 Move the groups from one FAS user (sergiosdj) to another (sergiodj)
Closed: Fixed Opened by sergiodj.

= bug description =

I have recently talked with nirik and abadger1999 on #fedora-admin about my issue, and they kindly helped me. In a few words, I want my username to be "sergiodj" instead of the current "sergiosdj". I have some groups to which I am subscribed on FAS, and I am the backup maintainer of the GDB project for Fedora. I would like you to copy everything from my current FAS account (sergiosdj) to my new account (sergiodj).

If it is possible, I would also appreciate if you could provide instructions about what else I should manually do in order to complete the "migration".

Thanks a lot.

ok, you need to do the following:

  • Login to the sergiodj account and accept the FPCA.

Once thats done, I can add that account to the packager group and change the packagedb to have that account.

Once thats done, you can login to the old account, and remove it from any groups and mark it inactive.

Then we should be done. Please let me know when you have done the fpca on the new account.

Thank you for the comment, kevin. I did not receive an e-mail notifying me that you had made the comment here, so it took some time for me to complete the FPCA. Either way, it is done now. I will follow this ticket closer now.

You should be in the packager group and package ownership was updated.

So, you can login to the old account, and remove it from any groups and mark it inactive and we should be finished.
