Some of our hosts (all the proxy* machines at least) use varnish for some web caching.
I'd like to enable the collectd varnish plugin on these.
See the modules/collectd/ section in puppet.
This should involve adding a section to the modules/collectd/manifests/init.pp for the new plugin and then including it on the proxy nodes.
Steps:
Login to lockbox01 and make sure you have a updated git checkout of the puppet repo.
Make local changes there to your repo, then when you have something that looks working, 'git diff' and attach that diff here with a comment.
Sadly, the varnish plugin is only available in 5.x and we are using 4.x here. ;(
