#3243 perl-sig e-mail address has been changed to invalid address
Closed: Fixed None Opened 11 years ago by ppisar.

A lot of Perl packages has perl-sig pseudo-user watching commits a bugs by sending e-mails to its address perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org.

Few moments ago I started getting bounces from Fedora MTAs:

{{{
fedora-perl-devel-list@redhat.com (expanded from
perl-Locale-SubCountry-owner@fedoraproject.org): host
ext-mx.corp.redhat.com[10.4.123.10] said: 550 5.2.1
fedora-perl-devel-list@redhat.com... Mailbox disabled for this recipient
(in reply to RCPT TO command)
}}}

Checking https://admin.fedoraproject.org/accounts/user/view/perl-sig confirms the contact address has been changes to fedora-perl-devel-list@redhat.com.

That means some Fedora package database administrator has changed the e-mail address inadvertently or wrongly by purpose.

Please revert the address or fix it correct new mailing list alias.

The account contact address was not changed.

What changed is that we are getting rid of (2.5 years later) the forwarding aliases from the old redhat.com mailing lists.

So, I think the fix here is to change 'perl-sig' user to have address of 'perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org' instead of the old no longer in existance list at redhat.com.

I have done so now. If this doesn't work for some reason, please let me know.
