Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to request this, but I can't find specific info.
For some of the virt packages in fedora, we have a virtual account 'virtmaint' that is the package owner. See ipxe, qemu, and a similar situation for the libvirt package
There are a few other packages that are closely tied to virt, largely maintained by RH virt team, that could use a similar treatment:
seabios sgabios gpxe vgabios
This is a fine place for this request... we can get things fixed up.
We can make 'virtmaint' the owner of those 4 packages in all fedora branches, but who do you want to be comaintainer on them?
Currently they are:
{{{
Fedora|seabios|Open-source legacy BIOS implementation|jforbes||bonzini,virtmaint Fedora|sgabios|Open-source serial graphics BIOS option rom|jforbes|| Fedora|gpxe|A network boot loader|jforbes||berrange,glommer,jforbes Fedora EPEL|gpxe|A network boot loader|jforbes||glommer Fedora|vgabios|LGPL implementation of a vga video bios|kraxel||jforbes,kraxel,virtmaint }}}
Let me know exactly who you want as co-maintainers and we can get it done.
Also Adding jforbes and kraxel here for comment, since they currently 'own' these packages.
As of just recently I have commit and approveacl on those 3 packages for fedora. Does that count as comaintainership or do I need watchcommit + watchbugzilla as well?
gpxe for epel shouldn't have owner changed to virtmaint tho, just the fedora versions please.
you don't have to have those if you don't want/need them. :)
ok. Done.
Please look and confirm all of them are set as you would like. Feel free to re-open this if you need any further action.
