I'm consistently getting this error syncing from download-i2.fedoraproject.org:
file list ... done ./ fullfilelist io timeout after 300 seconds -- exiting

ok, the mirrors should be synced back up.
Can you try again today and see if the issue persists?
I'm still seeing timeouts.
In fact, I'm having trouble getting all of the recently-resigned and new content synced in one swoop without errors from either mirror source, so I'm doing a bit of it by hand.
When using download-i2.fedoraproject.org, the "receiving file list" stage creeps along. It's much, much faster from dl.fedoraproject.org.
We have decreased the max number of rsyncs per host now.
Can you try again and see if it's doing any better now?
Any news here Matt?
I'm still seeing randomly poor performance, but I increased my timeout to 600 and haven't gotten as many errors since then. I'm on my way to a conference and then swamped until the start of the school semester but I can debug more after that sometime. For now, it's adequate but not great.
any news here? Still slow? looking better?
We are looking at rebalancing the backend netapp there, but that requires us to change the one it's replicating from (the main one), so we want to make sure everything is setup before we make changes.
Anyhow, if you have a chance to add more datapoints, please do.
Swamped with start of classes. More news next week. :)
How did things go for f16 release?
We did have one other person reporting some timeouts, but they were also able to get content fine after that.

Very smoothly. Thanks for checking in. I don't actually have any errors recorded for quite a while, so I think we're good.
Excellent. Closing now. Please do re-open or file new if you spot any further issues.
