Project Name: Retrace Server[[BR]]
Target Audience:[[BR]]
Expiration/Delivery Date (required): 2011-03-01[[BR]]
Description/Summary: Server that simplifies coredump analysis.[[BR]]
Project plan (Detailed): At the moment of backtrace creation user needs to have all relevant debuginfos installed locally. Downloading and installing them may require a lot of time and storage space depending on the package and its dependencies. The idea of Retrace Server is to liberate users from this: User sends the coredump packed along with some other required information (e.g. packages list) to the Retrace Server, the Retrace Server installs required debuginfo files, creates backtrace using standard debugging tools and provides it to the user for further processing.[[BR]]

Goals: Relieve users from installing debug info and debugging tools, create a better backtrace for automatic bug reports and in (hopefully near) future provide a tool to process the automatic reports before they go bugzilla and thus lower the number of BZs that gets to developers/maintainers and improve the information in the ticket.[[BR]]

Whats left to do here? The retrace server is up... but I understand it might need more capacity/replaced by a longer term solution?

Closing as it is up and just needs a new box.
