As Karsten Hopp (karsten) is the official secondary arch maintainer for s390 for Fedora it would be ace if he could get access to the directory mentioned above as well.

= background analysis =

The reason for this is that he's currently in the final steps to have ready-to-use install images and an install tree ready for Fedora 14 and we'd obviously like to host them at a reasonable spot. As this isn't a full release yet we'd prefer to have it on secondary1 first instead of http://secondary.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora-secondary/ where the "official" secondary arch releases should land. Basically counting it as a test release.

= implementation recommendation =

Not sure if thats useful (or whats actually asked here ;)), but i see 2 possible ways to do this:

1) Easy fix: Give Karsten access to secondary.fedoraproject.org and chown /srv/pub/alt/spins/S390 to him. That way i'd loose access to it, but i can always just give him files to upload if i have something new.

2) A bit more elaborate fix: Give Karsten access to secondary.fedoraproject.org and create a subdir under /srv/pub/alt/spins/S390, e.g. /srv/pub/alt/spins/S390/releases/ and chown that to karsten. That way i could still update the spins while he could handle the releases and images directories appropriately under there.

I've set the prio to minor and severity to Trivial already as this isn't ultra urgent or anything. If you got any questions/concerns just let me know.
