Today, people reported not being able to do things like cvs up

I traced it to /var/lock/cvs not existing. I created a temporary directory structure there but I don't think the permissions are right (they will allow ssh from packager group but not anonymous at the moment). I also didn't add this into puppet. That needs to be fixed by someone better versed in cvs.

tibbs also mentioned that all of the cvs repositories had been disabled, not just the packages cvs. At the least, there is plague and some of tibbs's scripts in the cvs/fedora repository that we need to extract and get to live somewhere else.

I'm confused. The ACLs for non-pkgs CVS stuff haven't changed. What exactly is failing there?

I don't think this has to do with acls. It has to do with us changing something somewhere that removed the /var/lock/cvs directory structure or permissions therein. That change affects both anonymous checkouts from the old pkgs repository and all checkouts from the non-pkgs repositories.

I see you just marked this as fixed: https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-infrastructure/ticket/2325 If you got that change fixed and into puppet, it should also resolve this ticket.

OK, I'll close this. Please do reopen if you see new issues.
