Jesse thought of a good idea last week - to create a sub-planet that is focused on Desktop product issues, design, and development. We'd like to be a bit more selective with who is added to this feed than the full fedora planet.
Please let me know what I should do.

You should be able to copy your .planet file to .planet.desktop and it will then show up under http://planet.fedoraproject.org/desktop/ on it's next run.
This is a fairly new feature so if it's not working after an hour or two, ping me in #fedora-admin
For the record, we would like to have editorial control over the feed to ensure the feed stays at a high signal to noise ratio and relevant.
We agreed on #fedora-admin to play it by ear and limit access as it became needed.
