Several meeting locations in the Fedora Calendar app are either incorrect or malformed. I would like to propose the permanent DELETION of the following meeting locations:

• fedora-meeting@chat.fedoraproject.org: Incorrect, should be meeting@chat.fedoraproject.org
• fedora-meeting-1@chat.fedoraproject.org: Incorrect, should be meeting-1@chat.fedoraproject.org
• fedora-meeting1@chat.fedoraproject.org: Incorrect, should be meeting-1@chat.fedoraproject.org
• edora-meeting@irc.libera.chat: Incorrect, because… it is just plain and simply wrong :grin:
• https://chat.fedoraproject.org/%23/room/%23meeting-1:fedoraproject.org: Malformed, opening this location in Fedora Calendar yields a 404 Error

For fedora-meeting@chat.fedoraproject.org and fedora-meeting-1@chat.fedoraproject.org, using my newly-granted sysadmin-calendar powers, I manually edited all of the events from the last several years to the correct meeting room, either meeting@chat.fedoraproject.org or meeting-1@fedoraproject.org. This should eliminate disruption by deleting these two meeting locations.

I did not inspect very closely on the other meeting locations, but I couldn't see anything recent for the ones I could open without a 404 Error.

By deleting these incorrect and malformed meeting locations, my hope is that we can once again have consistent use of the Matrix meeting rooms so they can effectively be "booked" in one place, and we can avoid the scenario where two meetings end up overlapping at the same time.

When do you need this to be done by?

Low urgency. But it is a matter of time before someone uses the Fedora Calendar auto-completion to add an event to one of the incorrect meeting room locations.

Before the end of the year would be nice?
