#12724 Request to Create Pagure Repositories for Red Hat Status Extensions
Closed: Invalid 15 days ago by kevin. Opened 15 days ago by dapiced.

Hello Fedora Infrastructure team šŸ‘‹

I'd like to request the creation of two new repositories on Pagure to host and contribute to extensions I've developed for monitoring Red Hat system status.

Here are the GitHub sources:

  • redhat_status_advanced: A more feature-rich extension that provides detailed system metrics, service health, and customizable alerts.
  • redhat_status_simple: A lightweight version focused on basic uptime and service status, ideal for minimal environments.

These tools are designed to help Fedora and Red Hat users monitor their systems more effectively, and I’d love to bring them into the Fedora ecosystem via Pagure.

šŸ”§ Requested Repositories

  1. redhat_status_advanced
  2. redhat_status_simple

Both projects are open source and licensed under MIT. I intend to maintain them actively and welcome contributions from the Fedora community.

Let me know if you need any additional information or adjustments to naming conventions.

Thanks in advance for your support šŸ™

Can you expand on what you mean by 'pagure' here? pagure.io ?
Why not just keep them hosted at github if they are already developed there?

Or do you mean package them for src.fedoraproject.org ?

Yes,

I am willing to make a rpm and maintain it if there a value to Fedora and Redhat community.

ok, this isn't the place for that process. ;)

See https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Joining_the_Package_Maintainers/ for the process to join and become a maintainer

Thanks for contibuting!
