#12489 COPR not running building when Webhook in GitLab or GitHub is triggered by push events
Closed: Upstream by kevin. Opened by noctua.

I created a SCM package tied with GitLab repository. I set the Webhook on GitLab as described in Fedora documentation and I set push events (all branches) and tag push events.

When I create or edit a README.md in the GitLab repository project, the webhook is triggered with 200 code, but COPR does not run the autobuild.

COPR runs the autobuild only if in Webhook on GitLab I click Test and I select tag push events. The push events, instead, seem to not work, despite I enabled them on the webhook and despite I get Response 200.

Tested both on GitLab and GitHub, but push events seem to not work with COPR.

I did further tests. I noted that COPR works as expected when only spec file is changed. If the user just edit another source code file, it is not triggered.

Is it expected?

@msuchy Any idea what could be a problem here?
