There is a spam happening in fedora-infrastructure repository posted by user @okeamah. I blocked the user in both pagure and FAS and deleted all the posts it created, but it seems that the mail responses are still working for the user.
We are trying to deal with that.
asap
I deleted another bunch of comments today that happened around 0200 UTC. I will be checking for more comments. Hopefully that was the last batch.
I didn't saw any message from this user till yesterday, so I'm closing this ticket as fixed.
Metadata Update from @zlopez: - Issue close_status updated to: Fixed - Issue status updated to: Closed (was: Open)
I had a though on this, since this was an automated email response, maybe just removing the watch* ACL on the repo would have solved the issue without really needing to block the user. It would have prevented sending notifications to that user for every action and thus the automated email response
How can you do that? Do you need to touch the database or is this possible by some other way?
There's a pagure-admin command for it:
pagure-admin update-watch fedora-infrastructure okeamah -s 0
You can also get watches for a user, but unfortunately, it requires the project name, you can't query global watch on all projects.
