RHEL 7 EOL is approaching (June 2024) and we still have some services running on RHEL7 machines.
kerneltest is one of these services and we need to do something about it.

note that we did not use the partial rewrite of this app, we simply used the existing codebase, and minimally updated it to get it working with our newer infrastructure deps.
Did the kerneltest folks had time to test the staging instance?
The primary kerneltest folk is @jforbes but he is out on medical leave right now. ;(
I'm not sure who else looks at this...
I have been looking at this and communicating with @ryanlerch through the process. i am happy with the current version of kerneltest on stg.
I have shutdown the kerneltest01 vm, but saved the lv off in case we find that we need anything from it.
