#11553 fedorapeople.org: Allow README files to be included in public_html directory listings
Closed: Fixed with Explanation a year ago by zlopez. Opened a year ago by andyp.

I have a README.txt file but it's not listed in the directory listing. If I change the file name it appears in the listing so I think something is filtering out README* files. Please could README files be included in directory listings?

This is caused by IndexIgnore parameter in Apache autoindex.conf. See stackoverflow topic for more info.

I removed the filter manually on people server and tested that it works. To enable it permanently I created this PR https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/pull-request/1597

The PR is now merged and deployed
