#10983 Permission to fedora website and apps team calendar access
Closed: Fixed a year ago by kevin. Opened a year ago by thunderbirdtr.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Hello we would like to get access to fedora website and apps team calendar and currently it is looks under infra group (not sure why) but can we have separate group or can we get permission on specific to that calendar so we can setup our w&a meeting properly or update them accordingly

Preferably @darknao @t0xic0der @thunderbirdtr @lilyx @duffy should have permissions. So we can have multiple backup people as well.

Current calendar : https://calendar.fedoraproject.org/infrastructure/
Example calendar : https://calendar.fedoraproject.org/infrastructure/#m9990

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Not urgent

So, the websites and apps meetings are under the infrastructure calendar because websites used to be a direct subgroup of infrastructure.

We can make a new calendar if you like.

The infrastructure calendar allows edits from anyone in 'sysadmin' group. If you like we could add another group there. Is there a group for websites and apps?

Sure that would be nice and also clean way to do it.

Thank you.

Is there any existing group that has fedora websites and apps members? Or do we need a new group?

I think we can use the websites-apps group.

Added. Can some member(s) of that group confirm they can now edit?

I confirm I can now create a meeting, but I can't edit existing ones.

Odd. I can't see why that would be the case... :(

Perhaps I can just delete the existing meeting and you can make a new one?

In that case, can we get our own calendar with admin rights on it?
Then move the meeting to this new calendar, and that should allow us to do whatever we want with it. Would that be possible?

I'm requesting admin rights because editor ones don't seem to be enough to modify someone else events on the same calendar? I was able to do it on the docs calendar, but I'm admin there, so I assume this is why it's working differently.

Sure, we absolutely can make a new calendar.

What would you like it to be called ? 'websites'?

Can it uses spaces or is it just all in one word? Otherwise, I would call it "Websites and Apps". If not possible, then "websites" is fine :)

Works perfectly, thanks!
Now that I've created the meeting in our space, can you remove the old one?

Thanks!
