#10843 Invalid openid provider
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by p-fruck. Opened 2 years ago by p-fruck.

Describe what you would like us to do:

I am currently trying to claim my Nest with Fedora 2022 Attendee Badge. When the badges page redirects me to the IDP and I login to my Fedora account I get the following error message:

403 Forbidden
Access was denied to this resource.

Invalid openid provider

Do you have any idea how to fix this? I was told to open the issue over here by the conference organizer. Seems like I am the only one encountering this issue.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

It would be nice if this issue could be fixed so I can get the conference badge, but it has not priority.

Odd. I see only successfull logins for you. ;(

Can you go directly to badges.fedoraproject.org and click on login there and see yourself logged in?

Do you have any cookie blockers? Perhaps try with another browser or in a private window?

I was using Firefox with any blocking extensions disabled, which didn't work. I also tried Chromium without any extension but still no success.
Another weird thing is that neither my wiki page nor my fedorapeople page is working. The wiki page says "User is not registered" and the fedorapeople page just says "Forbidden". Maybe something went wrong when creating my account?

I don't see anything obviously wrong with your account. ;(

Two things to try:

  1. Can you try changing your password and see if that changes anything?

  2. Can you agree to the FPCA? basically that just says anything you contribute to Fedora will be under a free license... that shouldn't matter for badges, but perhaps something is going wrong there.

I've changed my password and accepted the agreement, cleared the cache and tried to login again but still no success :(

:(

@abompard do you have any ideas here?

I think I found why, fixed and redeployed to prod.

Can you try again please @p-fruck ?

I guess adding a dash to my name was a bad idea, as pagure doesn't respect it either
I'd like to test but unfortunately the badge has expired since NEST is over. I'll try at the next conference ;)
