#10834 Add FE-FONTS block to Bugzilla
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by kevin. Opened 2 years ago by fed500.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Add a FE-FONTS block to bugzilla similar to the FE-SCITECH block which will alert the fonts list when there is a bug that requires attention.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Not urgent, but 2022/09/01 would be great if it is not time consuming to do this.

Actually anyone can make a blocker bug (just file against distribution and add FutureFeature to whiteboad) but then they will of course get email from it forever. ;)

FE-SCITECH seems to be a tracker for reviews for scitech packages. Did you want the FE-FONTS to be for new reviews? Or for any font related bug?

@fed500 can you answer the above question?

Thanks for your response, and sorry for the delay in mine. Any font related bug would be good. It should allow consolidation of font related issues. Probably at some point, the Fonts SIG might want to adopt font packages as other SIGs have done, and this would help in that.

I've created https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2119608 :)

You can have bugs of interest block that bug...

Let us know if you need anything else.

To avoid confusion I'd like to rename it to a tracker bug (rather than blocker).
Note we also have a Fonts component in Fedora bugziila.

Tracker bug is helpful. Thanks.

There's no difference at all between a blocker bug and a tracker bug. I am not sure where you want to rename it?

The bug has 'tracker' in the subject/name already.
