#10628 Out of date mirror
Closed: Insufficient data by kevin. Opened by gordonmessmer.

Describe what you would like us to do:

The mirror at http://fedora.mirror.net.in appears to be ~ 2 months out of date. We should contact them to notify them of the issue. Until it is resolved, we should also remove them from mirror master.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Whenever.

Thanks for the report. Are you actually redirected to content that is out of date via dnf? From what I see we track directories correctly which are still up to date and which are out of date.

I'm actually passing on a report that I'd come across: https://www.reddit.com/r/Fedora/comments/tw26k5/outdated_mirrors/

The mirror is listed on the mirror manager web page, which I'd believed is generated from the same data source: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mirrormanager/mirrors/Fedora/35/x86_64

Since the metalink service gives me only US and CA mirrors, I'm not sure I can verify the problem further than that. If it's not being handed out to dnf, then thanks for looking into the report. :)

Looks like they are ~3days behind right now on most repos... but yeah, the crawler should disable them and dnf should find them too out of date to use if they are.

Happy to look closer with more info...
