#10300 I have lots of issues; please make them go away.
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by kevin. Opened 2 years ago by glb.

Describe what you would like us to do:

To test scripts for migrating content from teams.fedoraproject.org to pagure.io, I created a test repo -- glb-test -- and populated it with content duplicated from teams.fp.o. I had expected that when I deleted the glb-test repo the problems would go away. That does not seem to be the case. Can someone from the infra team perform a more thorough purge of my test repo and all its associated issues?

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

No hurry at all. Not even a big deal if it cannot be done.

Thanks!

Also, there appears to be some vestiges of the former "fedora-magazine-proposals" that still show up in searches. If that old repo can be fully purged from the system as well, it might help to reduce confusion. Currently, fedora magazine proposals are supposed to be submitted to discussion.fp.o.

@glb can you please elaborate on what issues are you experiencing? The only thing I can see is that the repo name shows up in the search box. That can be fixed.

@humaton: Sorry, I was trying to be a little funny with the title line. The issues that I'm experiencing are the issues. I cannot seem to delete them. I want to delete all the issues associated with the glb-test repo and the test repo itself.

Thanks.

It looks like the project lost its git repository but not its entry in the DB.

The easiest is likely to just re-create a bare git repo on disk (sudo -u git git init --bare /srv/git/repositories/glb-test.git) and let @glb delete it again from the UI.

ok. I have done that.

@glb You can't delete a project by deleting it's git repo. You have to go to settings -> delete project at the very bottom. This is because a project not only has a git repo, but has several git repos (issues, docs, etc) and also exists in the database. So, to delete it, use the settings selection.

I'm pretty sure that was what I did the first time. I did it again just now -- by going to settings -> delete project on the web interface -- but the same thing appears to have happened (all the issues remain as does the listing of the project on the overview screen).

Arg, looks like we need to create the tickets/request/docs git repo as well, not
just the source one :(

Hum, so I tried adding all those and deleting it again... and it's still not working right. ;(

Can you try @pingou ?

There was an issue with the board on that project, I had to fiddle a little bit (add a new board, delete the old one..) then the deletion worked :(

I guess there is a bug in pagure :( but this issue itself is closed :)
