#10133 Issue adding co-maintainer to a package
Closed: Insufficient data 2 years ago by kevin. Opened 2 years ago by pbrobinson.

I've been having trouble adding @gtiwari to co-maintain a package. I've sponsored them into the packaging group, so they should have the appropriate ACLs. But pagure is erroring out with "This user must be in one of the following groups to be allowed to be added to this project: packager" and I can't see what's wrong. I've tried a couple of times a few months apart.

user: gtiwari
FAS: https://accounts.fedoraproject.org/user/gtiwari/
Pagure URL: https://src.fedoraproject.org/user/gtiwari

Group memberships are refreshed on login. Please have them logout and back on to src.fedoraproject.org and it should work...

We tried that previously to no avail, although I think that was prior to the new account system. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Ask @gtiwari to logout from src.fp.o, then visit https://id.fedoraproject.org/logout and then log back into src.fp.o. That should clear all caches

I mailed the user to see if they had a chance to do that or if they were seeing any errors.

Please let us know if this is still an issue/reopen if there's anything we can do. Happy to work with them to track it down. :)
