Describe what you would like us to do:

Hi there, can I get invitation to fedora-infra organization on Github please? My github username is ozkanonur

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

What do you need this access for and what level of access do you need?

What do you need this access for and what level of access do you need?

For now, I just need normal member access for development. I will need to create branches to do PRs for solving issues instead of forking so many repositories to my profile.

I sent an introducing mail to the fedora-infra mailing list a couple of months ago, and I am in the IRC channels and the mailing lists.

I think forking it yourself is still the best way rather than messing up the main repo with different branches

Hmm understood. So I guess I should check the issues and then PR to the repository?

So how it works guys, do I need to notify to mailing list that I will work on x or y issue, or I notify it on the comment section of the issue ? I want to start with this issue, would be nice to know what to do. This will be my first task, so I also don't know if I should pick tasks like that or some of the maintainers gives me tasks. I am sorry if asking too many questions.. I couldn't get answers from mails and IRC channels so..

No need to notify the mailing list, you can leave a comment on the ticket or if its quick work just submit the PR when done. You can work on any task you wish and feel free to ask questions directly on any issue should you have them.

@mobrien Alright, thank you for the answer. Right now, I started investigating issues and codebase of anitya and the-new-hotness projects on GitHub. Working on branches would be much better for developers in my opinion, but if this is the way Fedora works it's all okay. I guess the issue can be closed, even if I will not get the GitHub invitation. Feel free to close the issue guys.
