#10056 month old firefox version in updates-testing repo
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by kevin. Opened 2 years ago by rdtcustomercare.

Describe what you would like us to do:

i was testing up and downgrades for a class i gave tuesday and stumpled upon a small mystery.

[root@fedora packages]# dnf --enablerepo=updates-testing --showduplicates list firefox

Installierte Pakete
firefox.x86_64 87.0-12.fc34 @fedora
Verfügbare Pakete
firefox.x86_64 87.0-12.fc34 fedora
firefox.x86_64 87.0-12.fc34 updates-testing
firefox.x86_64 89.0-2.fc34 updates

I first thought it is a problem in dnf, but it's not:

https://mirrors.xtom.de/fedora/updates/testing/34/Everything/x86_64/Packages/f/

and check for firefox, you see a ff 87 version.

So: FF 87 in test repo, but 89 in normal updates repo.

Martin Stransky had no idea what have caused this, so it needs investigation.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

I think this is another case of https://github.com/fedora-infra/bodhi/issues/1164

ie, it's not getting untagged right after going to stable. ;(

I have manually untagged those 2 old firefox builds from updates-testing and hopefully we can fix the upstream bodhi issue someday.

Thanks for your report!
