There seems to be some problem with the main mirrormanager instance at https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mirrormanager/xmlrpc . I've not been able to check in for a week or so, with the "Error checking in. Connection closed before checkin complete. Please try again later." message
Adding verbose=True to the xmlrpc client gives me:
...... reply: 'HTTP/1.1 200 OK\r\n' header: Date: Sun, 13 Jun 2021 23:42:51 GMT header: Server: Apache header: Strict-Transport-Security: max-age=31536000; includeSubDomains; preload header: X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN header: X-Xss-Protection: 1; mode=block header: X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff header: Referrer-Policy: same-origin header: Content-Length: 317 header: AppTime: D=2835594 header: X-Fedora-AppServer: resultsdb01.iad2.fedoraproject.org header: Content-Type: text/xml header: Set-Cookie: session=eyJfcGVybWFuZW50Ijp0cnVlfQ.E6gpfQ.fr13AZ5xfEQ-eDBXSsZ_VIyMEtk; Expires=Mon, 14-Jun-2021 00:42:53 GMT; Secure; HttpOnly; Path=/ header: X-Fedora-ProxyServer: proxy02.fedoraproject.org header: X-Fedora-RequestID: YMaX@vMrIpGChylhI9pPzAAAAcY body: b"<?xml version='1.0'?>\n<methodResponse>\n<fault>\n<value><struct>\n<member>\n<name>faultCode</name>\n<value><int>1</int></value>\n</member>\n<member>\n<name>faultString</name>\n<value><string><class 'cPickle.UnpicklingError'>:invalid load key, '['.</string></value>\n</member>\n</struct></value>\n</fault>\n</methodResponse>\n"
The error seems to come from unpickling which as far as I understand shouldn't be used because the checkin is done by mirrormanager2-client-0.15-2.fc35.noarch which uses json.
Thanks for the report. Should be fixed now. I forgot to update the mirrormanager2 packages on the xmlrpc host.
