I tried to use the %autochangelog for git-cola [0]
However, it seems it is stuck in a loop, as noticed by Kevin Fenzi [1]
Some failed attempts on koji are here [2,3].

Is this not because rpmautospec is not built for EPEL8? I am filing a separate issue for it:

In Koji, rpmautospec comes only into play outside the build root (unlike with the prototype last year), so even if it's only available in Fedora, this should work because the builders are on Fedora 34.
Is that still the case since we are using bootstrap chroot in mock?
OK, something about the branch/merge structure in the git-cola repository throws the history traversal code off and into a loop. Trying to create a simplified reproducer.
@kevin What is bootstrap chroot? At any rate, the rpmautospec Koji plugin should run before mock comes into play.

PR #213 should fix this.
