This came up in the IRC meeting today.

We currently have blog posts show up in the feed widget on the left (hooray!)

But, I think this ticket is for a separate longer-term blog posts widget on the right hand side. Is that correct? Do we want that?

I think it could be nice to have. Then again, are we duplicating effort/info?

I think this might be a duplication of info - eg if you wanted to see blog posts by pythonistas, you'd go to the python hub and see them in the python hub feed widget along with other stuff. i don't know that having a blog specific block makes sense from a design pov? eg that the content comes from a blog in some sense is an implementation detail - an equally insightful piece of content could be posted on a mailing list or blog or elsewhere.

OK. Let's retire the idea, then.. and stick to just presenting that info in the feed. We can always bring it back later if we find it would be more useful than we thought.
