Closed: Fixed 6 years ago Opened 6 years ago by abompard.

@mizmo reports: I can't get the widget to display anything even after creating fake halp requests in a meeting.

The widget does display information if you follow a hub that has the corresponding IRC channel set in its configuration:

(on your dev machine you also need to invalidate the widget's cache as it is not permanently connected to fedmsg)

Does this look OK @mizmo?

I haven't been able to test fully yet (waiting on the PR to fix the FlushError thing so I can add IRC channels to hubs), but some initial feedback:

  • I think the coloring of the tags up top is a bit off. It's not clear when a tag is on or not.
  • Does the config UI let you add tags/hub names that don't exist? it feels like it does but maybe i'm overly cautious?
  • I think the '3 Days Ago' title doesn't need to be repeated - any posts that were 3 days ago can share the same title.

I'm excited to see a prototype of this working though :)

  • For the tag colors, I agree it's unclear. What should I do?
  • I think it does allow you to add hub names that don't exist, I'll fix that: #443
  • Right again about the title, I think it already was in the original mockup: #444

@duffy: Do you have a suggestion on the tag colors?

@mizmo will be working on the styling of the tags.
