#51 Perl sign-file script doesn't exists on newer version of linux, the documentation of signing kernel modules is out of date
Opened 3 years ago by comf0rts. Modified 2 years ago

Please update: Fedora 32 Documentation -> System Administration Guide -> Kernel, Module and Driver Configuration -> Signing Kernel Modules for Secure Boot

The method provided of signing file is out of date. Since sign-file perl script doesn't exists on newer version of the system, especially Fedora 32. The user will receive an "Unrecognised Character" error when following the steps.
