#486 WINE information is outdated in file modules/ROOT/pages/wine.adoc
Closed: complete a year ago by hhlp. Opened 2 years ago by tuxman.

It seems that there hasn't been any updates for a while on the WINE page in Fedora docs. Some version numbers are behind from the current state of the Wine packages and some instructions may possibly need updating. Can anyone update the WINE page?

In https://pagure.io/fedora-docs/quick-docs/c/8edc5dad219c227783ce1a450137dd9b1188732f?branch=master I've removed all the sub-packages/version information and pointed to the Fedora packages application which will always be up to date.

Not removed the warning yet because I don't know what the config files are.

Thank you, this will help people find a newer version of WINE to install.

@ankursinha I will take care of it in the next days....

Improve documentation:

  • configuration's files
  • use winetrick
  • use winecfg
  • create/use a working config files for 32 or 64 bits
  • install adobe digital edition under wine
  • etc....

I will also assign to me......

Regards.,
