During initial import, only English text was moved from Wiki to this repo. Some translations were left behind, and the new site is not even visible at Fedora Weblate.
What needs to be done to enable localization for Package Maintainer Docs?
As I tried to explain in my replies to your mail in trans@lists.fedoraproject.org, perhaps @jibecfed would be the most helpful with weblate configuration things. Also maybe @darknao could help with more general infrastructure things.
And you could create an issue in fedora-l10n/tickets as well.
As little as I know about this, I think the first thing to do is to create the l10n repository https://pagure.io/fedora-docs-l10n/package-maintainers/ jibec or @asamalik should be able to help with that. Once done, this repo should be automagically populated with pot files needed for Weblate, so we can configure it there.
As for importing old translations, I'll let jibec answer that one as I have no idea if that's possible.
@jibecfed is there still something that needs to be done? Anything I could help with?
I see that the fedora-docs-l10n/package-maintainers has been created, a bot continuously updates the translatable strings there, and it is visible at translate.fedoraproject.org. However, it is a bit different from other projects there, because it has a lock sign next to it, and says 100 % translated, which I take to mean that no other languages than English have been defined.
Is it now just up to somebody to define a language and start translating?
@oturpe Translation components added and pt_BR started. Sorry for taking long to solve this.
No problem, good to hear it is done now!
