#23 Can RPMFusion be mentioned on docs?
Closed 5 years ago by alciregi. Opened 5 years ago by alciregi.

We are moving to Discourse from AskFedora. https://pagure.io/fedora-join/Fedora-Join/issue/91

We are evaluating the possibility to convert to quick-docs the current AskFedora "sticky" questions (or in other words, the most frequently asked questions, or some popular howtos).

Can documents mentioning RPMFusion etc. be put up on docs.fp.o? Or are there legal or policy related issues?

Yes, but these documents need the standard third-party disclaimer. Put this at the top of the doc:

include::{partialsdir}/3rdparty-message.adoc[]

That adds a box like this: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/installing-chromium-or-google-chrome-browsers/

If you have a specific example, please refer to legal@fedoraproject.org. for review.

@alciregi Hi, if you don't need anything else on the topic then please close the issue.

Converting the stickies into quick-docs sounds like a great idea. Let me know if you need any help; you can find me on the docs mailing list or on IRC/Telegram as pbokoc in #fedora-docs.
