#61 Can't get past GRUB to install Fedora 33 on Macbook Pro 15" Late 2013

I use the Fedora writer for mac to create the USB boot. Everything goes smoothly.

Then at the GRUB, I make the selection to try fedora, then it gets stuck (see image).

It gets stuck whether I choose to try fedora or choose to test & try fedora.

Seems like it just doesn't work?
