Another page layout for user documentation and fedora project & community.

This is the second page the user sees if they are a new user, so it takes them to this page where it makes it easy for the user to see what fedora is all about.

When the user hovers on the on-user documentation, everything under it shows. Likewise for the fedora project and community.

Kindly check the link below to see the Figma software used to achieve this

How do we direct new users to this? The flow isn't clear to me.

hi @bcotton.

FIRST PAGE FLOW

when a user enters the link of fedora docs,
they get to the landing page and see learn more. on the landing page, the "Loren Ipsum" there is going to be an about page of fedora. "search button", is for existing users to easily search for what they are looking for or simply enter the "user documentation" or "fedora projects".
below is the link to Figma's first page flow

SECOND PAGE FLOW

the second page was made to have a clean look having the "user documentation" and "fedora docs" for users to easily navigate after they click on the "learn more" on FIRST PAGE".

THIRD PAGE FLOW / FOURTH PAGE

These pages are for users to see the content for both "user documentation" and the button at the bottom "fedora projects" links to the fourth page and likewise the fourth page links to the third page.

thank you

I worry that burying the links to the actual docs behind a largely-uninformative front page is going to keep people from clicking through to read

thank you for the feedback.

@bcotton
kindly tell me what I can do better pls.

thank you

I'd like to see the front page contain links to the docs, not just be a page where people click a link to get to the pages with links to the docs. Does that make sense?

yes, it does. will make the changes. since the deadline is in a few minutes, can I submit on outreachy first and then continue to make edits?

@bcotton

You can continue to make edits, but we'll be evaluating based on the content of the final proposal.

I like the change. It feels a lot more organized.

Would the contributor docs be on that page as well, or still separate?

thank you
hi @bcotton

I was thinking of a different page so that it is easier to navigate. but what do you think?

That can work, so long as it's easy to see how to get to it for contributors (or would-be contributors)

thank you. can I go ahead to submit it as a final contribution?
