Part of our efforts to help make it easier to onboard and direct new members (an interest mutually shared by the Join SIG?), these key points were noted as things we can try to do to improve [http://whatcanidoforfedora.org whatcanidoforfedora.org].

  • Adding more leafs to the decision tree (other SIGs and WGs, etc...)
  • Adding a new/intermediate/advanced/wizard head at the top of the tree?
  • Updating the questions and responses with more clever things

The repo for this site can be found on [https://github.com/fedora-infra/asknot-ng GitHub].

The CommOps team now has a [http://whatcanidoforfedora.org/en/#community-ops spot on the WCIDFF site]. It provides links to joining the CommOps team (generally) or to more specific types of tasks, such as being an Ambassador (not really us, but I thought relevant for this section), writing for the CommBlog, and 5 Things in Fedora This Week (5tftw).

I'm sure there's some other things that could be added too. If you have ideas, feel free to check out the [https://github.com/fedora-infra/asknot-ng/blob/develop/questions/includes/fedora/community.yml repo for the asknot-ng site]!

Discussed in 2015-12-08 meeting.

Our section is live, contributions to the site and our section are welcome! Feel free to submit your PRs with more ideas.
