Hey All,
I have been running test days and onboarding QA members for sometime now. In recent release cycles, we have a bunch of test days happening and rewarding our contributors have always been a good thing. I believe I can help with pushing badges and ensuring faster delivery to folks who have run tests but haven't received any badge.
@jflory7 @sayanchowdhury Can you folks add me to the relevant groups and issue me some permissions.
Thanks
PS : I have sat down with @siddharthvipul1 and he has helped me learn the process. @siddharthvipul1 it will be great to hear your thoughts as well. :)
Hi @sumantrom just curious if you are still looking to join the badges admin group?

See fedora-infra/ansible#1463. This completes half the work for the ticket. I also added @riecatnor and @smeragoel as Badges admins since it makes sense for them to have that privilege due to their work over the next few months with our two incoming Outreachy interns.
I am also not a member of the sysadmin-badges but I wouldn't mind being re-added. I took a break in the past but there have been times where getting into the backend would be useful.

This reminds me, that we should look into the different groups (Pagure, Ansible, FAS) and clean up. Some simplification would also be welcome. I still remember that it made my head spin trying to figure out which groups I needed to be in and whom to ask to make it happen.
@jflory7 Your name is eternally linked to Badges

One thing that is nice about tools like GitLab is that enables us to lean into a workflow centered around FAS. I agree there is clean-up to do but it definitely goes beyond this ticket. :grinning:
