Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"):
- You attended Linux Day 2018

Help the badges team understand what this idea is all about. If this badge is
awarded for certain kinds of activities:

1) What are those activities?
- https://www.linuxday.it/

2) Who is doing them (are they packagers? translators? newcomers? veterans?
users? sponsors?)
- newcomers, veterans, users

3) Why are they doing them (is this a means to a different end?)
- to promote fedora in the linux day

4) When do they do them (every day? once a year?)
- once a year

5) How do they do them (by talking in IRC? by running commands in the console?
by using a web interface?)
- assisting to the event

Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts?

I have several questions:

  • how many Fedora Badges users do you expect to visit the event?
  • is one badge a year necessary or would an all years badge do?
  • Is there some local name we can put int he name? Linux Day Italy or something like that? Linux Day seems too general, there might be dozens of similar events around the globe.

Linux Day - our idea is to have it as a global event and validated by the wiki:
e.g. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Linux_Week_Panama_2018

@blackfile - great start on the artwork :) It could use a few adjustments to better fit with the Badges aesthetic.
- Make the "Linux Day" text the typeface Comfortaa
- Play around with placement for "2018" - also please try this with the same color for body/stroke.
- Make all of your designs a bit smaller so there is room between the graphics and the edge of the graphics area
- Try adding in a radial/linear gradient to the background
