No need to ask. Everyone is welcome to take a look and submit PRs.
Having said that, Badges is currently in the process of being rewritten from the ground up. Therefore we are no longer looking into issues actively. If you are interested, head over to #badges-team discussion. If you'd like to take part in any aspect lined out, let me/us know and I can get you set up.
