#365 Badges for package review in Fedora
Closed: Duplicate None Opened 9 years ago by nonamedotc.

What the badge should be granted for:

This is a badge idea for granting badges for performing package reviews in Fedora. We seem to have badges for pretty much everything except package reviews now.

This badge could be one of those series of badges granted based on number of reviews.

Suggested scale is

1, 5, 10; 20; 50; 100; 250; >500

Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"):

Kudos for your hand in keeping the standard of Fedora packages very high!

Anything else we need to know:

I do not know if the existing badge infrastructure can query bugzilla. The only way I can think of awarding this badge (without manually doing this) is by retrieving the FAS username from fedora-review flag (+).

We'll be able to do this eventually, but we're waiting on some fedmsg integration with bugzilla to happen (it's happening.. just very slowly).

Also, this is a duplicate of #101. :)

Duplicate! Oops! Sorry and thanks for the reply.

I doubt we will have this implemented perfectly. Over that last few years I have seen people change the flags wrongly. If I track the reviews done by me I see I lost some because people just reset and set the fedora-review+ flag thus bugzilla shows some other person has done the package review instead of me.

Here I see for single package review bug, setting fedora-review+ flag if emitting femsg, I can go and just reset someone's package review done and set it again and fedmsg will say I did the review.
