#245 updated your in-vacation status
Closed: Pushed None Opened 10 years ago by nonamedotc.

What the badge should be granted for:
For updating the Fedora Wiki Vacation page to let others know that the user is going on a vacation so that package maintainer is not considered AWOL!

Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"):
Sip the lemondade away (You deserve it for remembering your responsibility)!!!

Anything else we need to know:
I thought this might be a nice idea since it is the first link on Package maintainer policy about absent package maintainers.
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Package_maintainer_policy

Artwork:
Artwork could be a caricature sipping from a glass on a beach. (Sorry, I am not very good with inkscape/graphics tools in general).

Does this badge actually work now? If you got to the wiki page, it redirects you to the fedora calendar for vacation instead of editing the wiki page.

It should still work.

The badge rule was updated when we moved the vacation stuff off the wiki. :)

Hm. OK. What did I do wrong then to not get the badge? I added an entry for tomorrow on the vacation calendar a while ago.

I see it:

I found the event through this query:

https://apps.fedoraproject.org/datagrepper/raw?user=jwboyer&category=fedocal

And here are the details for it:

https://apps.fedoraproject.org/datagrepper/id?id=2014-b58e7fd2-3d10-4c04-be67-2c35c278a32f&is_raw=true&size=extra-large

Next time you have a free moment, if you could catch me in IRC so we can try to duplicate this. We've been hitting some race conditions caused in part by large messages volumes from the secondary arch koji instances. Some optimizations for the datanommer process were rolled out recently (after June 3rd when your badge should have been awarded) that should mitigate this.

as I can win the badge ?

as I can win the badge ?

is it possible that this badge isn't working?

I added myself to the vacation calendar, but did not receive the badge :/

fedorahosted.org is now retired apparently. I assume the badge doesn't work any more. Can it be issued manually? I've updated the vacation calendar a couple of times in the past already.
